Series synopsis
The Knife and the Sword, also known as 信長のシェフ is a Japanese drama food television series that premiered on tv asahi on January 11, 2013. It ended on September 4, 2014. It stars Yuta Tamamori, Mitsuhiro Oikawa, Mirai Shida and Ren Nagase.
French chef Ken travels back in time to Sengoku period. Due to traveling through the time slip, Ken has lost his memory, but still retains his knowledge on fine cuisine. Thanks to his excellence in cuisine, Ken eventually becomes the chef to powerful daimyo Nobunaga Oda.
