Eye in the Sky

SZETO SHUN receives information from an informant concerning a gold shop robbery, so he and other police officers closely monitor the situation in the control room of the video surveillance system "The Eye". When everybody else becomes so exhausted, SZETO SHUN still manages to identify the suspect and thereby know the robbery target. NG CHUN-NI and LAM LING happen to be caught in the exchange of fire between the police and robbers and are then rescued by SZETO SHUN, who deeply impresses CHUN-NI. Walking with his co-worker WONG NGA-CHING, SZETO SHUN surprisingly interferes with an investigation of the Narcotics Bureau, leading to dissatisfaction of his supervisor CHIK LING-YEE. After CHUN-NI returns to NG TSO-CHI Private Investigators, a man, who bears a close resemblance to SZETO SHUN, appears.… ...

SZETO SHUN returns to the arson crime scene together with NGA-CHING, hoping to find some new evidence that will help clear his name. CHUN-NI goes to sit in the courtroom to observe the trial of the arson case involving SZETO SHUN. While there, the witness, security guard FAN FEI, testifies against SZETO SHUN, and the evidence also points to SZETO SHUN, resulting in him being in an unfavorable situation. Out of the blue, his defense lawyer calls a witness, who turns out to be socialite CHOW CHING-MAN. In the end, the jury returns a not guilty verdict for SZETO SHUN. Summoning SZETO SHUN, LING-YEE informs him that he is going to be transferred to another department. Filled with resentment, SZETO SHUN immediately tenders his resignation. Eighteen months later in a shopping mall, CHUN-NI re-encounters SZETO SHUN in an elevator. To her surprise, SZETO SHUN doesn't recognize her at all.… ...

SZETO SHUN introduces the newly-hired employees, FAN FEI and NIK-HANG, to the facilities of the hotel, telling them that their boss KONG WUI-HOI lives in an apartment on the 45th floor. When NIK-HANG is patrolling the floors, he sees CHU LO-SZE delivering a meal to WUI-HOI, and finds out that the place is heavily-guarded. During their investigation, CHUN-NI and LAM LING sense that there is a man who is surreptitiously filming them. Surprisingly, LAM LING shows a great interest in that man. MR. CHIN hires the Private Investigators to check whether his wife is having an affair. Tailing after MRS. CHIN in secret, CHUN-NI and LAM LING notice that she is heading to Y Suite Hotel, so NG TSO-CHI plans to stay in the Y Suite Hotel to probe further into the matter. Having heard the female writer KWOK HOI-YIU's complaint in the coffee shop, WUI-HOI goes forward to ask her for details, and thereby knows what made her so angry.… ...
