Series synopsis
Lark Rise to Candleford is a British drama television series that premiered on BBC One on January 13, 2008. It ended on February 13, 2011. It stars Olivia Hallinan, Julia Sawalha, Ben Miles and Claudie Blakley.
Set in the small hamlet of Lark Rise and the wealthier neighbouring market town, Candleford, the series chronicles the daily lives of farm-workers, craftsmen and gentry at the end of the 19th Century.
