Series synopsis
Hawthorn Tree Forever, also known as 山楂树之恋 is a Chinese drama television series that premiered on Jiangsu Television on March 12, 2011. It ended on March 25, 2012. It stars Wang Luodan, Li Guangjie, Lin Jidong and Song Yi.
In the spring of 1974, a shy young woman named Jing Qiu is sent to a remote village, where she forms a tender bond with a warm-hearted man, Sun Jianxin. As love quietly blossoms between them, a misunderstanding and his sudden disappearance threaten to end their story before it truly begins.
