Series synopsis
My Father and Mother, also known as 我的父亲母亲 is a Chinese drama family television series that premiered on Beijing Television 北京卫视 on July 20, 2013. It ended on August 26, 2013. It stars Chen Xiaoyi, Xin Baiqing, Feng Yuanzheng and Zeng Li.
Amid the political upheaval from the 1970s through the post–Cultural Revolution era, Chen Zhi, his devoted fiancée Cuihua, and his former classmate Xiuluo become caught in a struggle of power, integrity, and betrayal when corrupt county leader Ma Qingsheng sees Chen Zhi’s rising career as a threat.
Premise
