Guardian: The Lonely and Great God, also known as 쓸쓸하고 찬란하神-도깨비 is a South Korean drama sci-fi & fantasy comedy television series that premiered on tvN on December 2, 2016. It ended on January 21, 2017. It was created by Lee Eung-bok, Kim Eun-sook. It stars Gong Yoo, Kim Go-eun, Lee Dong-wook and Yoo In-na.
In his quest for a bride to break his immortal curse, a 939-year-old guardian of souls meets a grim reaper and a sprightly student with a tragic past.
