Fernando Alonso shows his most personal side in his homeland of Asturias, surrounded by his family and friends. We learn about his childhood and his personality from the perspective of those who know him well before he starts a year full of challenges.

The Indy 500 is the latest challenge for Fernando, the last step to achieving the Triple Crown of Motorsport (Monaco F1 Grand Prix, 24 Hours of Le Mans and Indy 500). Before travelling to Indianapolis, Fernando goes to the headquarters of his brand, in Madrid, and also trains for the first time in Texas, where he starts checking over the condition of his McLaren.

Preparations for the Dakar intensify and Fernando takes part for the first time in a rally. In South Africa he'll face new difficulties particular to rallying. With the goal of the Dakar still far away, Fernando's next stop is the 24 Hours of Le Mans. He and his teammates prepare together for one of motorsport's most legendary races.

Life in the pandemic. For the first time in his life, Fernando must spend weeks at home and continue his physical and technical preparation (with a simulator installed at home) on his own.

Fernando visits the Renault factory in England in the midst of a pandemic and then travels to the United Arab Emirates where he must live in extraordinary conditions.

We see Fernando advising Renault at the same time that he performs his preparation tests. The Asturian becomes one of the benchmarks of the Renault team even before his season begins.
