It's Christmas Eve with The Windsors and it's an even tenser affair than usual following the events that led Wills to usurp Prince Charles as next in line to the throne.

Charles tries to keep the family in order but Wills wants to mingle with the ordinary people so is working in a café. Pippa is jealous of Kate bagging a prince so uses her fantastic behind to lure Harry.

While on a humanitarian mission Kate contracts Ebola forcing Wills to rush to her bedside. Beatrice and Eugenie discover that the face paint they applied for the ball doesn't come off.

When a stranger claims Charles is his father it throws into question who is second in line to the throne. Wills and Kate shun royal life to live in Rickmansworth and Pippa is irked when Harry is set to marry down under.

Prince Charles refuses to help Theresa May secure a trade deal with the Chinese, but when Camilla withholds his conjugal rights, Charles agrees to host a banquet. Wills wants to be a hands-on dad, mixing with ordinary parents, but comes to realise childcare is a nightmare, while Pippa is preparing to marry Johnny, but is enraged that Kate has been made patron of Wimbledon and decides to put a gypsy curse on her.

Reviving his clubbing heyday, Harry buys a club and asks Kate to be the DJ, while Beatrice and Eugenie work the door.

Charles’s twin is the rightful heir, and seems like he’d make a wonderful king, but which version of Charles will the family choose?

The government calls on the royal family to cheer up a divided nation. But while the younger royals are keen to do their bit, the older generation goes on strike. Meanwhile, Camilla is plotting to stir up resentment, Beatrice and Eugenie launch a new business venture, and Wills seeks words of wisdom from the spirit of Queen Victoria.

When Charles and Camilla visit the Middletons, the simmering tensions threaten to turn violent. Fergie and the girls go to Glastonbury. And Meghan catches Harry in a compromising position with Pippa.
