Malory Towers

When Darrell finds herself stranded at an empty Malory Towers for Christmas, she has to hold her nerve when strange things start happening around the school.

With the strange goings-on still happening, the girls are determined to find help. However, when Gwen disappears on Christmas morning, their efforts turn to finding their friend.

In awe of Malory Towers, Darrell keeps her past at her old school a close secret. Always in the thick of it, Darrell has a hairy start at the train station and when odd sounds are heard in the dorm, learns about the ghost of Lady Jane Malory.

When Gwen leaves the school to learn about Darrell’s past, Darrell must try to stop her before it's too late. Meanwhile, not knowing where their dormmates are, the North Tower girls do all they can to cover when the Matron comes for lights out.

In an attempt to impress Alicia, Darrell unleashes a prank in Mam'zelle's class. Trick sweets sent by Alicia's brothers cause havoc in the school, and strange happenings continue when a mysterious red handprint appears in the dorm.

Darrell and her class return to Malory Towers. The first order of business: elect a new class leader. Gwen decides to take the new girl under her wing and become her best friend.

Alicia convinces Darrell to help her play a prank on their teachers with invisible chalk. Meanwhile, Mr Parker becomes stricter with his teaching. Mary-Lou finds her voice and stands up for herself.

The girls attempt to make Ellen feel more included but their efforts backfire. Miss Grayling has a secret that might put Malory Towers in danger.

The girls welcome Bill and her horse, Thunder, to Malory Towers, but Bill’s place in the Third Form is under threat when she is accused of spending too much time in the stables. Gwen’s father is offered the position of head of board at the school.

Darrell scouts out players for the lacrosse team, and discovers that Gwen has some hidden talents. Mary-Lou discovers a skin condition that worries her. Matron must fill in for the biology teacher.

Darrell suggests a midnight feast in the stables, but they’re afraid of horse poachers. Mavis, a Sixth Former, is on the hunt for someone to accompany her on the piano for an important audition, and Irene might fit the bill.

After being selected as head of lower school, Darrell soon feels the demands of leadership when Felicity, her younger sister just starting at Malory Towers, gets into trouble.

Darrell enlists the help of the First Form students when facing her first challenge to her authority as head of lower school.

Preparing for the inter-tower lacrosse match leads to disappointment for Darrell and Felicity. The rest of the team speculates why breakout star Clarissa is hesitant to play.

Felicity struggles to get out of Darrell's shadow in her second year at Malory Towers. Newcomer Jo struggles to follow the rules, getting Felicity caught in the crosshairs. Mary Lou debates how strict to be after becoming head of lower school.

June leads the Second Form girls in a strike to protect Clarissa from Gwen's constant demands, resulting in a big change. When a pipe bursts, old memories resurface and a new friend is made. Archaeological research begins at Malory Towers.

Felicity and Jo meet a young acrobat girl and Jo promises to take Felicity to the circus. When Jo breaks the rules to fulfill her promise, Miss Grayling teaches her a lesson about friendship. Twins Ruth and Connie start to notice their differences.

Darrell’s final year starts with a fierce argument with Gwen, but she knows they need to work together. French student Celeste joins the Third and plays a prank on the teachers.

Alicia falls out with Darrell and the other Sixth Formers when she edits the school newsletter. Jo and Susan get into trouble with Mr Parker over his new typewriter.

The girls try to cheer up Celeste, who wants to get expelled so she can go home to see her mother. Mary-Lou finds herself facing a snail invasion when she takes an art class.

Gwen is shocked into drastic action when her father refuses to sign her application to finishing school. Darrell and Felicity fall out during the North Tower Spelling Bee.

Clarissa challenges her brother's team, Thackerton Boys, to a lacrosse match after he insults her playing skills. Mr Parker worries about Nancy when she is put in goal.

Gwen plots for movie star and Miss Grayling’s estranged cousin Lily Vernon to visit the school. Lily has her own secrets. Nancy plans a prank to stop eating carrots.
