12 new contestants enter a brand new house for the first time. There are a few refinements to the rules. Official warnings will be given to any contestant deemed breaking the house regulations. Three strikes and they're out of the house, plus personal belongings such as books and musical instruments now have to be earned. The new housemates are: Alex, Jonny, Lee, PJ, Sandy, Spencer, Adele, Alison, Jade, Kate, Lynne and Sunita.

Big Brother 3 begins with the first of many daily shows taking a look at how the housemates have been getting along. Psychologists have a look and evaluate the new contestants.

Big Brother 4 has started with a brand-new looking house, 12 new contestants. In this hour-long launch night special Davina introduces us to all twelve brand new contestants; Anouska (20), Cameron (32), Federico (23), Gos (31), Jon (29), Justine (27), Nush (23), Ray (25), Scott (27), Sissy (26) Steph (27) and Tania, (22). After all twelve enter, Davina makes an important announcement. The first nominations will be happening live in just an hours time and the first eviction will be happening in a week!

Big Brother 4 continues with the second special of launch night. In this hour long special, all twelve contestants nominate one person for eviction based on first impressions, live to the nation. After all twelve housemates have nominated, the results are announced. The first four contestants to face the public vote are Anouska, Frederiko, Jon and Scott. The public will vote and one of those housemates will be evicted a week later. In tonight's episode disaster struck in the Diary Room when Anouska, Ray, Sissy and Tania all decided, in a drunken moment, that all of them sitting on the chair would be a good idea resulting in the chair's untimely demise! All o0f the housemates nominations from Day 1 are shown and the housemates are told who faces eviction. After he learns of his fate, Jon speaks to Big Brother about his worries of eviction and his prediction of losing the public vote and being evicted on Friday. Gos gets an unpleasant surprise when fellow housemate Jon jumps into his bed as a practical joke during the night.

In this, the totally LIVE Launch Programme of Big Brother 5, Davina introduces us to all 12 brand new contestants. And it couldn't be a more controversial list. A transsexual, a lesbian, an ex-stripper and an outrageously camp gay, to name just a few. In part one, a brief explanation of the application process (accompanied by all new footage) and a tour of the brand new house, lead by Davina. From here on out, the show is dedicated to the new arrivals. One by one, all 12 housemates enter the building that could be their home for up to 10 weeks. There arrivals are accompanied by a short video that shows some of their more memorable audition moments and introduces them to the viewing public. When all 12 have begun their Reality TV journey, Davina announces plans for the following days task and in an added twist, the contestant that loses will not receive their suitcase, containing everything they wanted to take into the house, for as long as they remain in the game.

The 12 new contestants face their first task, live. And to their surprise, just two days into the show the housemates made their first votes. All of them voted for the person they wanted to see go without their suitcase for the duration of their stay in the house. Loose cannon Kitten, who refused to enter the house initially on launch night, continued her rebellious ways and refused to go to the diary room when asked to do so by Big Brother. The votes were counted, and it was Kitten who the housemates decided should go without her case. Back in the studio, Davina looked through her suitcase to see what she would be missing. In addition, she revealed the first eviction would happen on Day 8 of the show. She also announced some shocking plans for the eviction.

An hour long highlights programme, airing the most memorable moments from the first two days in the house. They include the contestant's entering their new home and their first night, in which they found the 'surprise' of having less beds than people, meaning that some would have to share. Marco speaks frankly to Kitten and says he thinks that one of the females, well, isn't. Brief clips from the task are also shown and after he 'protest', Victor promptly chats in the diary room, revealing that he 'doesn't like that bitch [Kitten]'. Later the same evening, the contestants have a round of mud wrestling and there was mass debate as to if Nadia's breasts were natural or implants. Intelligent Conversation prevails, then.

Davina McCall returns to launch the sixth series of Big Brother, as thirteen housemates are welcomed into their new home for the next 78 days. However, one unlucky housemate will have to earn their place…

The other twelve; Rachel, Dale, Sylvia, Dennis, Michael, Alexandra, Rex, Mohamed, Rebecca, Darnell, Jennifer and Kathreya then enter the house. Before Davina reveals a further twist in the secret mission happening this Sunday.

Davina presents the live launch show. Davina reveals that none of the people entering the house will be proper housemates yet and will have to earn that status. The housemates are introduced for the first time as they enter the house.
