Series synopsis
The Flatey Enigma, also known as Flateyjargátan is a drama crime mystery television series that premiered on RÚV on November 18, 2018. It ended on December 9, 2018. It was created by Viktor Arnar Ingólfsson, Margrét Örnólfsdóttir. It stars Sigurður Sigurjónsson, Lára Jóhanna Jónsdóttir, Þuríður Blær Jóhannsdóttir and Stefán Hallur Stefánsson.
Spring of 1971, Johanna, a professor of Nordic Studies comes home from Paris to attend her father’s funeral. She’s also looking to find work at the University, but her feminist viewpoints about the systematic silencing of women’s voices in history does not go over well with the university board.
