Series synopsis
Ghost Hound is a Japanese animation drama mystery sci-fi & fantasy television series that premiered on WOWOW Prime on October 18, 2007. It ended on April 3, 2008. It stars Kensho Ono, Akiko Yajima, Jun Fukuyama and Soichiro Hoshi.
In an isolated region of Kyushu lies the town of Suiten. Though seeming small and modest, Suiten is not a picturesque place for a vacation, unless it is from the “Unseen World”. Taro, Makoto and Masayuki, three boys with traumatic pasts, learn to let their souls cross between the two parallel worlds. However, the Unseen World is no mere copy of the real Apparent World. The Unseen World is the home of ghosts, but changes are now allowing the souls of the dead to pass over into the Apparent World, ...
Premise

Taro, Makoto and Masayuki, three boys with traumatic pasts, learn to let their souls cross between the two parallel worlds. However, the Unseen World is no mere copy of the real Apparent World. Follow the journey of Taro, Makoto and Masayuki, as they cross between the two worlds, trying to unravel a great mystery.

Lucid Dream Tarou is having his usual dream of him flying around and then ends up in a room where he sees his sister, who doesn’t wake up, however his dream ended when a girl spots him. It’s the start of a new school term and there are more transfer students, with one very peculiar one, Masayuki Nakajima. Tarou ends up falling asleep in class and this time he begins to remember more of his traumatic experience, 11 years ago. |

Masayuki then begins to dig into the events that occurred 11 years ago, when Tarou and his younger sister was kidnapped, meanwhile Tarou goes to check the shrine he saw in his dream but there something odd about it. |

Phobia Exposure Tarou is hanging out at Masayuki’s house, when Masayuki reveals to him that he has acrophobia (a fear of heights). Masayuki suggest to Tarou that he should go to the source of his fears, to expose himself to his phobia. Even after being told it is a bad idea, by his counsellor, Tarou still decides to go but Masayuki seems to have invited someone else. |
