The Legend of Jade Sword, also known as 莽荒纪 is a Chinese sci-fi & fantasy drama action & adventure television series that premiered on Anhui Television on April 30, 2018. It ended on July 11, 2018. It was created by Wo Chi Xihongshi. It stars Hawick Lau Hau-Wai, Wang Ou, Niu Junfeng and Johnny Zhang.
Set during the Xia dynasty, the first ever recorded dynasty in Chinese history. It is a period rife with influences of mythology and folklore since it's close to the beginning of time when Pangu was said to have opened the heaven and the earth.
