Series synopsis
The Interpreter, also known as 亲爱的翻译官 is a Chinese drama television series that premiered on Hunan Television on May 24, 2016. It ended on June 18, 2016. It was created by Yifang Zhao. It stars Yang Mi, Huang Xuan, Gao Weiguang and Zhou Qiqi.
Qiao Fei, an ambitious French postgraduate student, dreams of becoming a professional interpreter. Under the mentorship of Cheng Jiayang, a brilliant interpreter and a foreign minister's son, she develops her skills and growing affection for him. However, their relationship faces obstacles based on family expectations. With the support of a friend, Jiayang must decide whether to follow his heart or meet his family's demands.
Premise
