Series synopsis
The Ogre's Bride, also known as 鬼の花嫁 is a Japanese animation drama sci-fi & fantasy television series that premiered on Gunma TV on July 5, 2026. It stars Saori Hayami, Yuuichirou Umehara, Manaka Iwami and Ryota Osaka.
In a world where humans and ayakashi–supernatural beings–coexist, being chosen as an ayakashi’s bride is the ultimate honor. Yuzu, an ordinary schoolgirl, has been overlooked her whole life, eclipsed by the shadow of her sister Karin, a chosen bride. Just when Yuzu has had enough, she unexpectedly captures the heart of Reiya, a dashing ogre from a powerful clan who claims Yuzu as his own.
Premise
