A.B.I.: A Broken Inheritance, also known as A.B.İ. is a Turkish drama television series that premiered on atv on January 13, 2026. It was created by Gülseren Budayıcıoğlu. It stars Kenan İmirzalıoğlu, Afra Saraçoğlu, Asude Kalebek and Sinan Tuzcu.
Dogan is a successful surgeon in Izmir. When he was young, a shocking incident with his father, Tahir Hancıoglu, caused him to break away from his family. Premise
Dogan is a successful surgeon in Izmir. When he was young, a shocking incident with his father, Tahir Hancıoglu, caused him to break away from his family. Now devoted to saving lives, Dogan has almost no connection with his family except his younger sister, Melek. At Melek’s insistence, Dogan returns to Istanbul for his sister Gulusan’s wedding. His return brings back long-buried traumas and hidden crimes. Dogan meets Cagla, a strong, determined lawyer. Their painful pasts create a deep connection. The family’s enemy, Behram, watches from the shadows, waiting for the right moment to confront the past. An attempted murder on the wedding night changes everything. Old secrets surface and members of his family appear among the suspects. Dogan must make a choice: leave and return to his old life, or stay and face the truth by uncovering the secrets at the heart of his family.

Episode 1 Doğan, a successful surgeon in İzmir, is forced to return to his family, from whom he has been estranged for years, after a struggle in the emergency room. Coming to Istanbul for his sister's wedding, Doğan confronts past issues he thought he had left behind, finding himself in the middle of the power struggles within the Hancıoğlu family. On one side is the authoritarian father, Tahir, and on the other, his ambitious older brother, Sinan. Doğan's arrival disrupts the family dynamics, and Çağla, a young and beautiful lawyer driven by a sense of justice, is unwillingly drawn into this chaos because of her beloved older brother, Behram. Their paths intersect irrevocably, and their destinies begin to be rewritten. Subsequent unexpected events force Doğan, against his will, to remain with his family for much longer than he had planned. |

Episode 2 The attack suffered by Tahir Hancıoğlu on the wedding night suddenly drags the Hancıoğlu family into a prosecution investigation and public pressure. As Melek becomes a wanted person on the allegation of wounding her father with a scalpel, time is running out. While Doğan follows the trail to clear his sister and reach the truth, the picture painted by Sinan turns into a line of suspicion that Doğan must follow step by step. On the prosecution side, Çağla tries to establishes a risky balance to both ensure Melek gives her statement and prevent the case from closing in Behram's favor. While Tahir's condition remains critical in the hospital, the tension within the family gradually escalates. Çağla finds Tahir's will in Sinan's car and learns that Sinan has been disinherited and everything has been left to Doğan. This fact upsets the already fragile balances; the investigation intensifies, and Doğan and his family simultaneously enter a pincer of accusations, secrets, and confrontation. |

Episode 3 While the Hancıoğlu family is shaken by what happened to Tahir, Melek's arrest on murder charges deeply wounds the family. Shouting that she was kidnapped and is innocent, Melek is sent to prison when a forged passport surfaces. Doğan is caught between his sense of justice and anger, feeling the helplessness of leaving his sister behind iron bars. While the balance within the family is overturned, the possibility of Doğan becoming the head of the family according to Tahir's will ignites the fuse of new conflicts. Behram's dark plans, Sinan's past mistakes, and Çağla's stance between her conscience and reality drag everyone onto a path of no return. While Doğan is determined to push his limits to save Melek, a much greater danger awaits Melek as she tries to survive in prison. |
