Sisi is a German drama television series that premiered on RTL on December 28, 2021. It ended on December 15, 2024. It was created by Sven Bohse. It stars Dominique Devenport, Jannik Schümann, David Korbmann and Désirée Nosbusch.
"Sisi" follows the extraordinary life of Empress Elisabeth of Austria. Modern, honest, and authentic. Told from the perspective of her closest confidants, the series takes a new look at the empress' life and reveals a multi-layered woman.

Sisi finds a friend and confidante in Fanny, whom she smuggles into the palace as a maid under a false name. |

Episode 3 The young couple's wedding night does not go as planned and Sisi needs Fanny's advice more than ever. But Countess Esterhazy exposes Fanny as an impostor and banishes her from court. It is only during their honeymoon in Laxenburg that Sisi and Franz slowly find their way to each other. At her first, official reception as empress, Sisi surprises everyone with her excellent knowledge of the Hungarian language and the kindness with which she treats the Hungarian nobility. |
