The World's Strongest Rearguard, also known as 世界最強の後衛 ～迷宮国の新人探索者～ is a Japanese action & adventure sci-fi & fantasy animation television series that premiered on Tokyo MX on July 5, 2026. It stars Yoshitsugu Matsuoka, Yui Ishikawa, Kanon Takao and Aoi Koga.
After a fatal accident, overworked office worker Arihito Atobe is reborn in the Labyrinth Country as a Seeker with the rare Rearguard class—an all-purpose support role that excels in attack, defense, and healing. Joined by a fierce demi-human mercenary and his former boss, Arihito dives into deadly dungeons and rises through the ranks. The adventure of the strongest support class begins!
Premise
