Series synopsis
Matka King, also known as मटका किंग is a drama crime television series that premiered on Prime Video on April 17, 2026. It was created by Nagraj Popatrao Manjule, Abhay Koranne. It stars Vijay Varma, Kritika Kamra, Sai Tamhankar and Siddharth Jadhav.
In this fictional tale set in 1960s Mumbai, an enterprising cotton trader who craves legitimacy and respect, starts a new gambling game dubbed ‘Matka’, that takes the city by storm and democratizes a terrain previously reserved for the rich and elite.
