Series synopsis
D.I.E. Again, also known as 古靈精探B is a Chinese drama television series that premiered on TVB Jade on August 18, 2009. It ended on September 21, 2009. It stars Roger Kwok Chun-On, Sonija Kwok Sin-Nae, Nancy Wu Ting-Yan and Derek Kwok Jing-Hung.
Although D.I.E had been dissolved and the officers returned to their previous departments, their odd habits continue to follow them, resulting in many troubles for the police force. The senior staff decide to bring the D.I.E back, this time headed by Lo Sir, Yue Sir's former supervisor. Yue Sir and Jing Jing have a baby boy and Jing jing returns to work after trying to be a housewife to no avail. Premise
Although D.I.E had been dissolved and the officers returned to their previous departments, their odd habits continue to follow them, resulting in many troubles for the police force. The senior staff decide to bring the D.I.E back, this time headed by Lo Sir, Yue Sir's former supervisor. Yue Sir and Jing Jing have a baby boy and Jing jing returns to work after trying to be a housewife to no avail. Initially working with the homicide unit again, she is still always chasing Dai-Hau-Ying, and after several incidents is sent back to D.I.E. Ying seems to have become less evil than before, but Jing jing continues to attempt arrest, much to the chagrin of her supervisors.

Episode 1 YUE CHI LONG becomes a father recently. In order to take care of the baby, he doesn’t get enough sleep all the time. His supervisor LAW YAU HANG is upset about it but LONG tries to please him by praising his newly bought GPS PDA. YING CHING CHING is not pleased to become a full-time housewife after having a baby. The police are rehearsing for the security arrangement of the “Grand performance by the gold medal winners”. After being humiliated by the police of the Special Duty Unit, CHEUNG CHING YEE hits them angrily. While working as a presenter for the TV program “Police Report”, PANG MEI WAN flirts with her husband MAN LUNG in front of everybody. The audience and crew make complaints on her afterwards. Former team members of the D.I.E. gather together for producing a new police program on anti-vice operations. Episode 2 When looking at the CCTV, LONG and LUNG are shocked to find that the dead body of CHUNG LUI suddenly jumps up. Everybody believes that the dead body is haunted by the ghost but LONG believes that this is man-made. LONG goes out to carry out investigation but his team members ask him back for they found that SIU KEUNG’s dead body at the mortuary is dissected unexpectedly. LONG and LUNG believe that both cases are related. CHOI SANG from the Serious Crimes Unit comes to take over the case. He accidentally knocks LONG down. LONG touches the dead body and he suddenly sees weird images… SANG calls LUI’s younger brother CHUNG HON for investigation but he fails to find enough evidence to arrest him. SANG goes to “Match-up Line” to investigate the members record and he tries to question WONG TONG. LONG finds the contact number of LUI’s taxi-driver in HON’s home but he fails to find useful information from the taxi-driver.… ... |

Episode 3 CHING returns to work at the Serious Crimes Unit and she wants to take over KEUNG’s case from SANG. LONG visits the pub where KEUNG used to hang around and he sees weird images again. While LONG is thinking through the images carefully, CHING informs him that the murderer is arrested already. HANG finds that LONG has got a lot of evidence on the case and he asks him to hand over them to the Serious Crimes Unit. All members of D.I.E. pretend to agree with HANG but they continue to carry out investigation secretly. SANG fails to find evidence to prove that TONG has killed KEUNG and TONG claims that he had only dissected KEUNG’s body after his death to release his anger. YEE devotes himself wholeheartedly to CHI CHING even if she has gone to study aboard. PUI PUI is deeply touched by him and she tries to teach him how to please CHI CHING. SANG learns that there will be an illegal munitions transaction.… ... |
