Series synopsis
The Galaxy Railways, also known as 銀河鉄道物語 is a Japanese animation sci-fi & fantasy action & adventure television series that premiered on BS Fuji on October 4, 2003. It ended on August 22, 2007. It was created by Leiji Matsumoto. It stars Takehito Koyasu, Naoki Yanagi, Kazuhiko Inoue and Hikaru Midorikawa.
In the future, the trains of the Galaxy Railways transport citizens between planets, protected from terrorists and aliens by the elite SDF. Though his father and brother were lost in service of the SDF, Manabu follows his dreams and joins the unit.
