Series synopsis
Rockface is a British action & adventure drama television series that premiered on BBC One on March 13, 2002. It ended on July 27, 2003. It was created by Shelley Miller, Nicholas Hicks-Beach. It stars Clive Russell, Brendan Coyle, Cal MacAninch and Zoë Eeles.
In the fictional Scottish Highlands town of Glenntannoch, Dr Gordon Urquhart leads a mountain rescue team, whose major missions and incidents are based on real life ones conducted by the Lochaber Mountain Rescue service.

Situation: Critical Doughan underestimates the danger involved after he finds himself balanced on the edge of a rockface whilst attempting to rescue a fallen photographer. The team come to the aid of a man who has ruptured his spleen after tripping over while out walking, but are forced into an agonising wait for a helicopter to arrive. McLanaghan has to aid a diabetic in danger of going into a coma. Caroline Morrison wants to join the team, but they're wary as her father has donated money to the mountain rescue service. |

Episode 2 Bayliss tries to rescue a girl trapped in a cave, but finds the only way out is to crawl through a series of tunnels. Doughan, McLanaghan and Annie Craig come to the aid of a group of fallen rope climbers. Doughan is displeased to discover that his mother is consulting at the hospital. Annie faces a tough test. Despite their differences, McLanaghan and Nurse Helen decide to go out for a meal. |
