Series synopsis
DI Ray is a British crime television series that premiered on ITV1 on May 2, 2022. It ended on October 29, 2024. It was created by Maya Sondhi. It stars Parminder Nagra, Gemma Whelan, Sam Baker Jones and Peter Bankolé.
DI Ray is set in Birmingham and follows Leicester-born Rachita Ray, a police officer who takes on a case that forces her to confront a lifelong personal conflict between her British identity and her South Asian heritage.
