Doctor: In Another Life, also known as Doktor: Başka Hayatta is a Turkish drama television series that premiered on FOX on March 8, 2026. It ended on April 12, 2026. It was created by Pınar Bulut, Onur Koralp. It stars İbrahim Çelikkol, Sıla Türkoğlu, Şebnem Hassanisoughi and Bertan Asllani.
After surviving a severe attack, Prof. Dr. İnan Kural, the distinguished chief physician of Umutpark Medical Foundation Hospital, returns to life with no memory of the past 12 years. He finds himself in a world that feels completely unfamiliar. The years he lived are far from even being memories for him, and he struggles to recognize even himself. Surrounded by unfamiliar relationships, incomprehensible bonds, and unanswered questions, he is forced to rebuild his life from scratch.
Premise

Episode 1 After miraculously surviving the attack, Prof. Dr. İnan Kural, who lost 12 years of his memory, opens his eyes to an entirely different life. He is no longer a doctor; now he is the patient. He has divorced his great love, and his family has fallen apart. As the administration prepares to implement new security and communication protocols in the hospital due to the rising incidents of violence against healthcare workers, Ilgaz and Neslihan take action to rid themselves of İnan forever. Meanwhile, the condition of a young patient whose diagnosis remains elusive continues to worsen despite all interventions, and İnan's instincts—now that he can no longer officially practice medicine—give the case an entirely new direction. However, the cost of this move will be paid by an unexpected person, leaving Elif right in the middle of a grueling ordeal where she will question both her professional future and the trust she has placed in İnan. |

Episode 3 The memory of a brief moment that left everyone in suspense, İnan begins his first day as a doctor in his new life. However, due to the rule set by Ilgaz, he will not intervene with patients or communicate with them. But of course, this is a quite impossible situation for İnan. With Elif's mother being admitted to the hospital, İnan will break his first communication rule, but this situation will reveal an important secret related to Elif's mother. Elif, on the other hand, has a new decision regarding İnan, and with this decision, she enters a serious change. Meanwhile, a patient from Toprak's past causes him difficult moments. While Toprak struggles to make a diagnosis without being able to communicate with his patient, İnan will once again clash with him and his decisions. |
