Series synopsis
The Sacred Blacksmith, also known as 聖剣の刀鍛冶（ブラックスミス） is a Japanese action & adventure animation drama sci-fi & fantasy television series that premiered on AT-X on October 3, 2009. It ended on December 19, 2009. It was created by Miura Isao. It stars Aki Toyosaki, Ayumi Fujimura, Megumi Toyoguchi and Nobuhiko Okamoto.
Cecily's a blushing knight in shining armor. Unfortunately, it seems most battles end with her as the damsel in distress. Premise

Knight Cecily Campbell is the head of the Campbell house and a member of the 'Knight Guards' responsible for protecting the Independent Trade City of Housman. When Cecily's sword is broken in a confrontation with a former knight she must search for a blacksmith to repair it. Unfortunately the only person skilled enough is Luke Ainsworth, who also happens to be the one who saved her life during the earlier fight. However, before he can even start his task Luke must once again save Cecily's life when a local trade caravan is attacked by monsters. |
