Scam 2003: The Telgi Story, also known as स्कैम २००३: द तेलगी स्टोरी is a drama crime television series that premiered on SonyLIV on August 31, 2023. It ended on November 2, 2023. It was created by Hansal Mehta. It stars Gagan Dev Riar, Sana Amin Sheikh, Shashank Ketkar and Mukesh Tiwari.
It will follow the life of Telgi, born in Khanapur in the state of Karnataka, as he became the mastermind behind one of India’s most ingenious scams, which spread across 18 states and shook the entire country

When he is arrested for forgery nine years later, he meets Kaushal Jhaveri in prison and joins his gum wash operation. However, fining the business unscalable, Abdul comes up with the idea to pivot into the world of stamp papers. |

Choomantar Abdul successfully begins to steal official stamp papers from trains, but needs a licence to sell them in bulk. Against Kaushal’s wishes, he uses political connections to try and acquire one from the Old Custom House but fails. To make matters worse, Kaushal, feeling betrayed, leaves Abdul’s side. |

He ends up losing his license and going back to prison, where he meets a mechanic from Nashik who introduces him to the source of stamp papers - the Nashik Security Press. |
