In an exclusive interview after “THE RACE,” Daniel talks about what the race was like for him and gives insights into what ultimately led him to victory!

The first episode of THE RACE begins in northern Africa. The participants are simultaneously abandoned in the narrow streets of Morocco and have to find their way out. Your goal is clear: Germany! But the participants have no idea what problems will await them during the journey. Who will be the first to reach Europe? THE RACE begins!

In the second episode of THE RACE, each participant tries to get a coveted ferry ticket in their own way. But the clock ticks tirelessly. The first groundbreaking decisions are made and while everyone is fighting for every single euro, the police suddenly become aware of one of the participants. Will all candidates make it to the ferry before sunset?

Once they have arrived in Europe, the participants face the next difficult obstacles in the third episode of THE RACE. Rain and storms make it difficult to contact locals and tourists. As darkness falls, the participants are faced with the crucial question: Where will they spend the first night?

THE RACE season 2 begins! The five participants embark on an exciting journey in Paris that they never expected. The most important change: they don't know their destination. To find out where their journey will take them, the participants have to puzzle their way through the urban jungle of Paris. How will the participants fare and who will be the first to find out their destination?

Each of the contestants struggles with the puzzle in Paris to be the first to discover the destination for THE RACE season 2 and gain a valuable head start. They rattle off location after location, but one of the four riddles brings some of the contestants to the brink of despair. When the participants finally find out where the journey is taking them, they are left speechless.

The riddle has been solved and the destination of THE RACE season 2 has been set. 3,500km now separate the candidates from the coveted finish buzzer in Turkey. The first plans are being made, rides are being sought and meters are being measured. The plan is clear: get out of Paris as quickly as possible. But things don't go according to plan for everyone - and cause the first serious crisis before the first night.

Before the main event kicks off, five wildcard candidates will compete for a spot in the main race – one of the new features in season 3. To participate, they must first prove themselves in a separate challenge – a kind of mini-version of "The Race." The goal is to reach five landmarks across Germany as quickly as possible. Not just one person qualifies – the two best participants will jointly secure a ticket for "The Race" season 3 and compete as a wildcard team.

The challenge gets personal: Jerry gets a sofa offer with shortcut options, but rules are rules. Kodiak collects stamps and continues his journey to Berlin. Taube meets a real lucky charm on the train, Käthe lands warm and safe with Grandma's connection, and Marc relentlessly carries out his plan: fare evasion, onward travel, stamps!

A day like a plot twist: Jerry finally gets his momentum and gets double the stamp. Kodiak gets the ticket money at the last second – straight out of a movie! Taube, as always, spreads good vibes, gives things away, and sleeps in the woods like a true adventurer. Käthe is completely offline. Marc, on the other hand: party spawn, then a Flixbus sneak peek and more stamps.
