Don't Cry Istanbul, also known as Sen Ağlama İstanbul is a Turkish family drama television series that premiered on Star TV on December 10, 2024. It ended on February 15, 2025. It stars İsmail Hacıoğlu, Simay Barlas, Aytaç Şaşmaz and Burcu Cavrar.
Şehrazat, a resilient and hopeful young woman studying in medical school who dreams of a bright future with her beloved Ferhat. However, their lives are turned upside down when Ferhat is wrongfully sentenced to death. In a desperate attempt to save him from the gallows, Şehrazat turns to Büyükbey, a man known for his dark influence. Premise

Episode 2 Hearing Büyükbey's offer to marry her to Kubat and have children, Şehrazat finds herself in a major dilemma. Cemşit, under the pretense of protecting Şehrazat, collaborates with Büyükbey while doing everything he can to prevent his daughter from seeing Ferhat. Kubat, tired of his uncle treating him like a puppet, and Şirin, who is madly in love with him, are not willing to let this marriage happen. Despite all the challenges, Ferhat has found a glimmer of hope to be with Şehrazat; however, Büyükbey has no intention of giving up on Şehrazat. |

Episode 3 Dreaming of building a new life, Şehrazat and Ferhat decide to escape, but their future plans are thwarted by Büyükbey. Burning with the desire for a grandchild to continue his lineage, Büyükbey threatens to take Ferhat’s life to convince Şehrazat. With no other way out, Şehrazat is forced to comply with this marriage to save Ferhat. With a heavy heart, Şehrazat parts ways with Ferhat, and the decision is already made for Kubat, who divorces Şirin by Büyükbey’s order. As the wedding day approaches, set to determine everyone’s fate, Ferhat and Şirin are willing to risk everything to prevent this union from happening. |
