Series synopsis
Cranford is a British drama television series that premiered on BBC One on November 18, 2007. It ended on December 26, 2009. It was created by Sue Birtwistle, Susie Conklin. It stars Eileen Atkins, Judi Dench, Lisa Dillon and Simon Woods.
A rich and comic drama about the people of Cranford, a small Cheshire town on the cusp of change in the 1840s. Adapted from the novels by Elizabeth Gaskell.
