Series synopsis
Folk Exorcist, also known as 我在民间破诡事 is a Chinese drama television series that premiered on iQiyi on April 28, 2026. It ended on April 30, 2026. It stars Leo Yang, He Shi, Cui Changcun and Shang Na.
After inheriting the role of a spirit guide, Wang Shiqi travels the land exorcising evil. In Taohua Town, he becomes involved in a series of supernatural cases alongside Su Wanrong and Yinlian. As they investigate, they uncover a larger conspiracy involving local corruption and a foreign faction, leading them to protect the town and its people from both human and supernatural threats.
Premise
