Allison is lead to an art gallery where she encounters the art of a popular artist. While looking at some of his paintings 3-dimensional images emerge that make her believe that the artist is somehow involved in a crime. Joe gets a job offer from a former co-worker.

Joe tries to prove that Allison's dreams are stress related by sending descriptions of them to law enforcement agencies. However, when one of her dreams matches a homicide in Texas, his attempt is thwarted.

Allison questions her powers when her old boss asks for her help in selecting a jury that will reinstate the death penalty for a murderer/rapist. This causes Allison to suspect that she has helped put the wrong man on death row.

Allison has a dream of a husband and wife committing a murder/suicide. D.A. Devalos introduces her to a friend of his, Detective Lee Scanlon, who's sister and brother in-law's deaths were also ruled a murder/suicide, and sees a connection. After learning about Allison's methods of investigation, Scanlon decides he doesn't want her help.

While Capt. Push lingers between life and death, Allison struggles to decipher confusing messages from the other side in an attempt to stop a serial killer before he claims his next victim.

All outside noise is drowned out as a popular song is continuously played very loud, and only in Allison's head. The song gives Allison clues to the whereabouts of a missing coed.

Allison dreams that she's a woman who's been committed to a mental institution in 1959. After viewing taped sessions from the clinic, Allison discovers that the woman from her dream had made claims of being Allison DuBois, living in 2005.

Allison's old flame, Clay Bicks, appears at her doorstep moments after dying, unaware that he is dead. When he accepts the fact that he's dead and will never get to be with the woman he loved, he decides he's going to stay in Allison's house so he can at least be close to her. This upsets Joe, and Allison decides that something must be done to get rid of Clay. Meanwhile, Allison shares a bunch of odd dreams with Bridgette, except Bridgette's dreams keep coming to her in the form of cartoons for some reason.

Allison dreams about the same day over and over again. Each time she finds more important clues. Joe tries to get affection from Allison. Ariel has problems at school.

A serial killer from the past begins to possess people so he can kill again. Allison races against the clock to save his next victim, but she becomes a target in the process.

Now that Allison's special abilities have been revealed to the public, everyone's lives have been turned upside down. Allison starts to have dreams about a boy who was kidnapped from a toy store, but is unable to turn to Devalos or Scanlon for help. She decides to call the company hired by the missing boy's family and makes an unusual deal with the company's investigator, Cynthia Keener.

Allison tries to help investigator Cynthia Keener find a missing teenage girl. Meanwhile, Ariel dreams of Allison's high school days from the 80's after being asked out to a concert without any chaperones.

Joe brings a reluctant Allison with him to a party at a prospective employer's house. Later on, the employer's daughter disappears, leading Allison to connect her recent dreams about Paris to the disappearance. Now it's up to Allison to save the daughter, which coincidentally will also secure Joe a job.

Delavos receives help from Allison when he investigates the murder of his friends sister. But the case is taken into an unexpected direction when when Allison's visions involves the friend's former husband and current spouse. On the domestic front, Bridgette finds herself in trouble at school when she is caught drawing pictures of her teacher in the nude.

Allison dreams of a ghost who was a witness to several murders. Meanwhile, Ariel has a strange reaction to an assignment in health class.

While working on a 17 year-old-crime, Allison exhibits unusual behavior that may be pivotal in solving the case, but at the same time puts her family at risk. Meanwhile, Joe's dinner invitation to a colleague yields surprising results.

Allison and her family deal with the outcome of her brain surgery and its possible lasting effects. Also, a local television station owner asks Devalos and Scanlon to look into the possible stalking of his sportscaster, who is also his wife.

When Ariel acts strangely, Allison becomes worried that her daughter might be possessed with the spirit of a murdered stripper who wants revenge on her killer.

When Allison's friend with cancer suddenly dies she suspects a hospital employee may be at fault. Meanwhile, Bridgette writes a story that closely follows what later happens at Joe's job interview.

When they have the same dream about a missing homeless man who is the subject of Allison's most recent case, Bridgette and Allison swap personalities, causing mayhem at home, at school and with the investigation.

While investigating a rash of murders, Allison sees floating symbols above people's heads, signs that she thinks could match them with their perfect mate. Also, Joe is put in a tough situation when one of his employees accuses another of sexual harassment.

Scanlon is haunted by dreams of his late brother, leaving Allison concerned about her colleague. Also, while making her final preparations for college, Ariel has visions of missing young women, past and present.
