Series synopsis
Under the Canopy of Love, also known as 天幕下的戀人 is a drama television series that premiered on TVB Jade on February 20, 2006. It ended on March 17, 2006. It was created by Sum-Wai Wong. It stars Niki Chow Lai-Kei, Kevin Cheng Ka-Wing, Bosco Wong Chung-Chak and Claire Yiu.
Because of a lost personal device, the lovely and childlike Fiona Ko Yat-Sze is brought together with her Prince Charming, a boy whom she had had a crush on since school days. Alan Shum Long is the Prince Charming, who, after graduation from school, lost touch with Yat-Sze. Later, Yat-Sze meets Nick Kuen Lik, who happens to be the long lost son of the mall's rich owner. The simple and honest Nick starts to like Yat-Sze. Meanwhile, another woman falls for Alan...
Premise

(Fate) ALAN is the Marketing and Promotion Manager of the Flying Hotel. He helps the owner of L.S. Co. Ltd., FONG KWOK TUNG, to organize a marriage proposal event at the Flying Mall. All the shop ladies of Flying Mall are envious of MAY because she is going to marry a rich man. KO YAT SZE, a staff in Rosa Ornament Shop inside the Flying Mall, is an exception. SUKI, shopkeeper of a boutique, performs Tarot reading for SZE in order to tell her love fortune. The first Tarot card shows that SZE will recall an old memory from the past. After obtaining the name cards of TUNG and other rich men, ALAN immediately input their contact information into his PDA. STEVE from the top management appreciates ALAN’s work very much. ALAN seizes the chance to propose organizing GCS Alumni Gathering as a new line of business. ALAN’s boss HO KA KEI is dissatisfied with his over-aggressiveness. ALAN loses his PDA.… ... |

(Encounter) SZE recognizes that ALAN is the owner of the PDA. ALAN is shocked to find that all the data in his PDA are gone. Later, his mother NG PIK GEI takes out all the name cards that he has thrown away and ALAN is overjoyed. KEI accidentally ruins the business with GCS and he shifts the blame to ALAN. ALAN is speechless. ALAN meets a guy with strange behavior called KUEN LIK and he believes that LIK is selling his body for money. LIK fails the police examination again and his father KUEN TAN YAU analyses the reasons for his failure. LIK feels depressed and his auntie HO LIN SANG consoles him. SUKI tells SZE that the third Tarot card is not a good one and SZE ignores her. SZE is carrying a lot of new ornaments for the shop. ALAN suggests giving her a ride but SZE believes that he has bad intentions. ALAN learns that STEVE will retire from his position soon and he knows that this is a bad news for him. (Come True) SZE discovers that ALAN is SHUM LONG. She is very excited and happy but ALAN doesn't remember her at all. The predictions of the first two Tarot Cards have come true. SZE asks SUKI to help elaborate the meaning of the third Tarot Card. The third Tarot Card tells that ALAN will fall down from somewhere high. SZE is worried. ALAN comes to Rosa Ornament to collect the outstanding rental. SZE tries to hide away from him so as not to give him troubles. LIK arrives at the Flying Mall to work as a security trainee. His supervisor TAI YAT TO introduces all the job duties to him. SZE and NAM's father KO PAK FAI is an entertainment reporter. He discovers that NAM is dating with the rich guy Mr CHAN and blames NAM for deserting her boyfriend MARTIN for riches. NAM doesn't want to quarrel with him about this.
