In this one hour special Dr Chris gets the opportunity of a lifetime - the chance to go to Africa and work on native animals. First up he is off to the Kingdom of the White Lion Sanctuary, where he meets Kevin Richardson, a South African known as the lion whisperer who has been hand rearing lions for 15 years. Chris has the opportunity to operate on two lions with facial tumours- but what he doesn't know is that the last vet that visited was bitten when a lion woke up!

On this episode of Bondi Vet, it's a tense night in the ER as Chris fights to save a policeman's pet which has been deliberately poisoned with snail bait. Add to that a mercy mission for a malnourished penguin washed up on Bondi Beach and a scary operation for a seven month old pup whose leg is disintegrating.

In Episode Two of Bondi Vet, Chris confronts a bizarre and shocking act of cruelty as a 12 year old cat is deliberately dumped in the Bondi surf and left to die. Viewers also get to meet a depressed parrot caught in a bizarre love triangle and Lisa must try and help a beautiful Samoyed survive a killer tick bite.

This week stand by for a ground breaking operation at the Bondi clinic. Elroy, the out of control bulldog is being de sexed and Chris is about to give him the very latest fake silicone testicles direct from the United States; Lisa hopes a blood transfusion can save a senior citizen and some very different patients including a sick owl spreading some nasty bugs and a turtle that's wandered way off track.

In his most difficult night in the clinic Dr Chris is forced to deliver Bella's six pups by caesarean.

Will Tyson survive the open heart surgery and have a happy future with his new family?

Chris has rushed to the Australian Reptile Park to handle an emergency. Two Tasmanian devil babies, Lara and Lily have been struck down with a mystery illness and are close to death.

Two boxer puppies are found by police wandering the streets. One has been hit by a car and is coughing up blood. Chris is called to rescue the brothers. First, he must treat the hit and run victim but then it becomes his mission to track down their owners and prevent them going to an animal shelter. The trouble is Chris is bonding with the puppies and is going to find it hard to let go.

At the Reptile Park Tim has to put his life on the line when Elvis the crocodile has injured himself on a damaged part of his pool.

Three young emus are causing havoc at the Reptile Park. Lisa meets Charlie, a cat that has a knack for eating up dangerous items such as a 50 cm thick pink ribbon. And Chris tries to save a three day old foal that unexpectedly lost its mother. A horse that recently just lost her own foal could be the solution but will foal and the grieving horse accept each other? And how is Zambi doing? The young lion cub is celebrating her first anniversary and uncle Chris of course can't miss that birthday party.

Chris swaps the city for the country as he heads to the Kyabram Vet Clinic in country Victoria to help out a friend. There's little time for pleasantries though. Plus, a cat is rushed to SASH and has been struck down by a paralysis tic for the third time in 12 months.

At the Bondi Vet referral hospital Sascha a young Rottweiler has been rushed to emergency with fears its bloated stomach is beginning to twist. Can the team save young Sascha?
