Series synopsis
Now and Again is an American sci-fi & fantasy comedy action & adventure television series that premiered on CBS on September 24, 1999. It ended on May 5, 2000. It was created by Glenn Gordon Caron. It stars Eric Close, Dennis Haysbert, Margaret Colin and Gerrit Graham.
When insurance salesman and family man Michael Wiseman is killed in a subway accident, the U.S. government preserves his brain and puts it into a new, genetically bio-engineered body that's young, attractive, and can do anything a superhero can do.
But as a top-secret experiment and weapon, the new and improved Michael can never let his wife Lisa or daughter Heather know his true identity. With the strict but brilliant Dr. Morris as his mentor, Michael takes on deadly terrorists, corrupt agents ...
Premise
When insurance salesman and family man Michael Wiseman is killed in a subway accident, the U.S. government preserves his brain and puts it into a new, genetically bio-engineered body that's young, attractive, and can do anything a superhero can do.
But as a top-secret experiment and weapon, the new and improved Michael can never let his wife Lisa or daughter Heather know his true identity. With the strict but brilliant Dr. Morris as his mentor, Michael takes on deadly terrorists, corrupt agents, killer bugs, and an extremely dangerous international criminal known as "the Egg Man." Michael can do anything...except stay away from the family that he loves.

On the Town Michael breaks free from his bodyguards and heads to his old office and Roger. He wants to see his wife and daughter again. He forces Roger to drive him to his house where he watches Lisa and Heather and then sees Lisa leave on a date. Dr. Morris is not a happy man and has all his men out on the street trying to find Michael. Meanwhile the Eggman is in America and is planning to blackmail the city or release his nerve gas there. |

Over Easy Now that the city has received a blackmail demand from "The Eggman", and they have seen the proof that he does possess the poison gas he claims to, it is time for the new, improved Michael Wiseman to show his worth and deliver the bearer bonds to the blackmailer. Little does Dr. Morris and Michael realize but when they go off to the drop Lisa, Roger and Heather are following, trying to find out what Michael is up to, unknowingly putting themselves in danger. |
