Thirteen half-hour episodes were produced from 1984–1985, airing on ABC. Between the late '80s and the early '90s, the show was rerun on the USA Cartoon Express, and has also aired on Boomerang.

Sir Timothy's Quest Timothy's friend is thrown in prison for incompetence when a map he is guarding is stolen by the Lizard King. The Lizard King wants the map because it details the location of the secret royal gold mine. The Lizard King needs gold in order to perform his magic. Timothy sets off alone to recover the map and free his friend, but he is soon captured by the Lizards. Dirk and Daphne follow Timothy when they discover what he is doing. They must rescue him and stop the Lizard King from finding the royal gold mines. |
