From the recruits' very first challenge - a terrifying backwards dive out of a helicopter - Ant Middleton and his team are determined to show there will be no allowances made. Later, the celebrities have to overcome more fears.

Chief instructor Ant Middleton and his directing staff put the celebrity recruits through a series of tests. One celebrity recruit collapses on a mountain and another is badly affected by the extreme cold, as they face brutal challenges.

The celebrities are paired up to prove that they're team players, and must put their lives in each other's hands, in a terrifying free fall abseil. They must leave their celebrity world behind and learn to trust their partner to keep their place.

The recruits face a terrifying 50-metre free-fall off a cliff, followed by boxing with a twist. Katie Price must cope with the pressures of past and present. Tony Bellew battles with his inner demons.

In the second selection phase, the celebs face murderball, a brutal beasting, a backwards helicopter dive into near-freezing waters, and a few home truths. But who will make it through?

The celebs are put in specially selected pairs. They must eat, sleep and operate as a duo. Joey Essex and paralympian Lauren Steadman may shine as individual players, but can they do teamwork?

Twelve celebrities head for the wilds of the Scottish Hebrides. They tackle an aerial assault course, then attempt to rescue a hostage.

The celebs face a punishing search operation through a series of rooms filled with CS gas. And they're tested under pressure during a rescue mission when they're tasked with extracting two of their fellow recruits who've been taken hostage.

The celebs first climb up a 200-foot cave, and abseil back down again. The second task is murderball: a serious test of physical strength and aggression. Finally, the recruits must write a 'death letter' to their loved ones.

Celebrities who think they have what it takes to pass the SAS selection are pushed to their limit by an elite team of ex-special forces operators. Fifteen recruits from the worlds of entertainment, sport and journalism take part in the hardest course yet, as Chief Instructor Billy and his team expose them to winter warfare training on New Zealand's South Island. For their first task, the celebs must traverse the Trainasium - parallel metal bars suspended 335ft in the air. Then, the recruits' mindsets are tested under extreme pressure when they stage an intense hostage rescue mission.

The spotlight focuses on the Special Forces' high levels of discipline. In the first task, a terrifying feat tests the celebrities both mentally and physically as they race in a forward abseil down a 300-ft working dam. Then, under cover of darkness, the recruits must perform one of the most feared tasks - the backwards dive. Will the celebrity recruits conduct themselves in the manner required?

The celebs are paired with an 'oppo' for mutual support as they pull heavy equipment across treacherous, icy mountain terrain. But then they have to fight each other.

Rebecca Loos, Louie Spence and Conor Benn are among the 14 celebrities taking on the most challenging selection course in the world. This series comes from Wales, the birthplace of the Special Forces. For their first task, the celebs must plunge into the freezing sea, swim to a rendezvous point and attempt to jump onto a moving speedboat.

The recruits go head-to-head in a terrifying hang-tough task 160 feet above a quarry - testing mental and physical strength. Then they take on a car ambush task where they must drive into a simulated war zone, pick up an ally, and vacate hostile territory into a safe zone, intact.

The recruits get a rude awakening with some lessons in staying calm, tackling an emergency drill in a sinking boat before going head-to-head in combat with their fellow celebs.

Decades of rivalry are tested as 14 British and Australian celebs take on an SAS selection course. First up is an underwater drill and it's Brits vs Aussies in hand-to-hand combat.

Phase two pushes recruits to breaking point with psych tests, split-second life and death decisions, mud tunnels and a brutal beasting that forces one of the celebs out.

A perilous ladder escape, 15 metres up, is followed by a scorching ammo mission up the side of a mountain, as one recruit's lack of leadership is exposed for all to see.
