Suidooster

Three families live and work together and consequently share in each other’s joys and sorrows. The Octobers are planning a birthday party, the Samsodiens are considering going on holiday and the Du Plooys are at loggerheads with each other.

Mrs Jacobs goes out of her way to track down her lost daughter, disturbing Bridgette in the process. The mysterious Bianca hides a secret from the people of Suidooster, while Mymoena wants to start her own business. In the Du Plooy household, the standoff between father Chris and his son Tim reaches crisis point when Chris takes action.

Bianca starts her job as a waitress at Oos Wes, but should the people of Suidooster trust her? Against his father’s wishes, Tim accepts his new job offer and looks forward to getting to know his boss’s daughter better. Mrs Jacobs’s 70th birthday bash is in full swing when a guest arrives who can derail the whole event.

Bridgette demands that Ian tears up the contract giving him power of attorney over her mother’s shares, or she will tell Mrs J the truth about the neurologist who misdiagnosed her.

Jerome and Carmen try to work out where they stand with each other. Stefan and Michelle dream about their baby while Nicci realises hom much she cares for Tim. Chris tries to explain to Rita that he and Lee-Ann are merely friends.

Carmen meets the Octobers and Ian immediately takes a liking to her. Stefan is worried about Michelle, while Chris has to choose between Rita’s mental health and Lee-Ann’s friendship. Mrs J decides to whom she is going to assign the power of attorney over her shares in Suidooster.

AB and Rhafiek believe Mymoena will recover quickly, while Estelle tries to support Bianca, but her sorrow runs deep.

Nicole makes Mrs J realise her family needs her, while Bridgette’s drinking takes a turn for the worse. Siya struggles with his own growing guilt.

Ian visits Mymoena in hospital. Danielle and Justin go on their first date, but it doesn’t end the way she hoped it would.

Ian tries to make up with Bridgette, while Bianca wonders if she should look for her biological father. Rhafiek and Carmen are back from Kuruman and Eugene sends Ian a clear message.

Bianca agonizes over whether she should contact her dad, while the rest of the Samsodiens are opposed to it. Michelle suspects Stefan is attempting to move on with his life and Ian tries to negotiate with Eugene.

Mymoena finds out that Bianca is preparing to meet her biological father. Ian and Eugene come to an agreement, while Michelle and Siya invite their friends for dinner.

Chris makes a breakthrough in his investigation on Izette’s disappearance. Mymoena gives Kaashifa a second chance, while Tim realises the full extent of Izette’s betrayal.

Kaashifa does something she immediately regrets and Mymoena is faced with a difficult choice. The investigation into Izette’s activities takes an unexpected turn.

Danielle’s life is turned upside down, while Mymoena has to make a decision regarding her and Kaashifa’s future. Tyron and Wade get embroiled in their friends’ love lives.

Quinton has his hands full when his friend comes to visit, and Junaid grows more curious about Kaashifa. Justin stands up to his father, while Bridgette makes her next move.

Nazeem is at a low point and makes a decision about the future. Justin is super nervous and Quinton makes a new friend.

Nazeem convinces AB that he wants to stay in Ruiterbosch for the family, but he has other plans. Zoe surprises Tim and the Gerbers are upset with Quinton.

Carmen avoids her family responsibilities, which leads to a fall-out. Bridgette needs to make a decision about her new relationship status, while Gino tries to convince Joy that her mother should come to Ruiterbosch.

Carmen still avoids the hospital, while Mrs J doubts her decision to organise a job for Gino. Kate struggles to accept that her last chance for love is gone.

Kate tries to suppress her emotions, while Gino sees an opportunity and makes use of it. Carmen’s day starts off with a surprise, and concludes with an impossible choice...

All the tension in the Samsodien household is starting to affect little Stella. Simon wants to spend the day alone and Nazeem reaches out to AB.

AB and Mymoena are grappling with whether they should tell the whole truth, but then there are further developments with the pickle they are in. Carlo is sad when his friends no longer want to play with him and blames Ty for it.

AB is placed in an impossible position, while Ty interferes with Carlo’s friendships. Simon tries to hide his deterioration ...

Wade is finally invited to one of Lillian’s social gatherings, while Siya and Danni are nervous about Brendan’s stay with them. Bianca and Dirk make a decision that could have grave consequences.
