Along the Belgian Coast In the first episode, Arnout, together with his travel packers (cameraman Philippe Niclaes and soundman Ruben Callens), leaves Bruges, which was once the most important port city on the North Sea. With a canoe he searches the small road to Het Zwin. In an old fisherman's chapel in Heist, a woman tells him a moving story. Arnout discovered that Ostend used to be on an island and continues towards France. In Dunkirk he makes a special discovery on the beach. |

The English East Coast Arnout continues along the English east coast, where every year dozens of meters of land and many houses are swallowed by the sea. He meets with Derrick, who threatens to lose his home for the second time in his life. Along an ancient pilgrim path Arnout reaches Holy Island, on the border with Scotland. |
