The New Squad

The new Spaccanapoli Police Station is being inaugurated on the site of a former drug dealing hub, the same site where Officer Ciro De Rosa was killed by the Camorra. Vitale, caught by Ricci in the hideout of De Rosa's killer, claims he doesn't know the Camorra member's identity and that he arrived there by chance, following the directions of an informant. The deputy commissioner doubts his sincerity.

Deputy Commissioner Paola Ricci hunts down Vitale's informants to determine whether the inspector actually received a tip from one of them that led him accidentally to the crime boss Bruno Sannino, the murderer of police officer De Rosa. Ricci, increasingly intent on restoring order and legality to the neighborhood, organizes a raid on the market and extensive checks throughout the area. The operation, however, interrupts Vitale's investigation, and he decides to act alone. Francesco Silla, a new member of the Falcons, feels marginalized but finds support in Battiston and Sciacca.

After discovering that Vitale had been secretly investigating the murder of police officer Ciro De Rosa, Deputy Commissioner Paola Ricci decides to intervene: she forces Chief Inspector De Falchi and Sorrentino to don their uniforms and assigns them the task of promoting the new online reporting booth. In the historic center, a tourist is mugged in front of Vicky and Silla, who give chase. During their escape, the thief manages to steal Vicky's gun, which belonged to her father, Ciro, an object of great sentimental value, received on her first day on duty.

Following the corruption scandal, the Spaccanapoli police station is under attack. A new leader, Deputy Commissioner Lopez, arrives, determined to restore order and cohesion to a wounded and disheartened team. Lucia Profeta is in a coma after an ambush, and her brother, the crime boss Profeta, threatens Inspector Sorrentino. The Falcons, led by Lopez, manage to identify and arrest one of the killers involved in the attack.

Inspector Vitale is going through a difficult time following the arrest of his colleague Sorrentino and receives a transfer request, which Deputy Commissioner Lopez opposes. Meanwhile, two officers, Coppola and Marciano, are taken hostage by a man they were supposed to question regarding a complaint: Lopez and his team desperately try to save them. Meanwhile, Vicky and Francesco investigate a child who threatened an entertainer with a gun, revealing that he saw a man hiding weapons in his home. The Spaccanapoli officers discover that the explosion at the Profeta house was the work of Luciano Babà, who has defected to a new boss, 'o Cafone. Lucia wants revenge and asks Coppola to hand him over to her. Meanwhile, the detective investigates an abandoned newborn baby and a failed robbery. Federico, convinced of his brother Gabriele's involvement with the clan, decides to leave.

Lucia Profeta agrees to meet 'o Cafone, the new boss holding the neighborhood in check. Lenzi and Silla shadow her, hoping to identify and frame the mysterious Camorrista: a dangerous meeting that could finally reveal the face of the enemy behind the new wave of violence. The Spaccanapoli team intensifies their hunt for 'o Cafone: Vitale tracks down Lucia Profeta and, with determination, manages to obtain from her the real name of the mysterious boss spreading terror in the neighborhood. A decisive step toward his identification and arrest.

Lopez decides to plant a hidden microphone in the house of the already arrested boss Barone, hoping to frame Facchini as well. Meanwhile, Vitale has a minor car accident with the father of one of his daughter's schoolmates, a shady-looking man. Meanwhile, Bianca is increasingly worried about losing custody of her son. Ciccone, the new head of the SQUADRA, investigates the murder of the nephew of a powerful boss, found dead in a van. The investigation leads Vitale and his men to a disturbing lead: illegal organ trafficking.

Lopez's death rocks the police station. While awaiting a new leader, Ciccone takes over temporarily. Sciacca and Battiston investigate a suspicious murder, while a new boss emerges: Michele Malinconico. Gabriele receives an offer from him to secure his freedom. Sciacca and Battiston investigate a hitman linked to a Colombian clan who has arrived in Naples to eliminate a group of traffickers. The operation is overseen by Ludovica Belforte, head of the Anti-Drug Unit, who implicates Spaccanapoli and reveals his ties to Malinconico. Meanwhile, Ciccone, struggling with his leadership, devotes himself to the case of a young Ecuadorian man killed, entering the world of underground fighting. Bianca, still reeling from Lopez's death, kisses a stranger who turns out to be her new colleague: Matteo Costa.

Sciacca discovers that a girl's alleged murderer is mentally unfit, but suspects the parents are hiding something. Meanwhile, Malinconico targets drug dealing centers: an ambush results in the death of a young boy, shocking the hawk Matteo Costa. During a check, Marciano and Coppola find Luana Moselli, a showgirl with bruises and a confused state. Persuaded by Sciacca and Ciccone, she reports her attackers, who, however, maintain their innocence. Meanwhile, the Hawks monitor the neighborhood, where Malinconico's blue drug is spreading. Vitale hires Gabriele as a bouncer at a nightclub frequented by drug dealers; there, Gabriel discovers the blue drug and confides in Vicky, his secret companion.
