Series synopsis
The Shield is an American crime drama action & adventure television series that premiered on FX on March 12, 2002. It ended on November 25, 2008. It was created by Shawn Ryan. It stars Michael Chiklis, Catherine Dent, Paula Garcés and Walton Goggins.
The story of an inner-city Los Angeles police precinct where some of the cops aren't above breaking the rules or working against their associates to both keep the streets safe and their self-interests intact.
