Series synopsis
Frontier of Love, also known as 爱情的边疆 is a Chinese drama television series that premiered on Zhejiang Television on May 8, 2018. It ended on May 14, 2019. It stars Yin Tao, Wang Lei, Li Naiwen and Augusta Xu-Holland.
In the late 1950s, Wen Yiqiu, a Chinese broadcasting student, marries Soviet announcer Weika in Beijing. When he’s forced to return home due to political tensions, Yiqiu takes a job in a border town to stay close. Separated by national borders, they find comfort in each other’s broadcasts, clinging to hope as they await a change in Chinese-Soviet relations.
Premise
