Series synopsis
The Love Boat is an American drama comedy television series that premiered on ABC on September 24, 1977. It ended on February 27, 1987. It was created by Aaron Spelling, Wilford Lloyd Baumes. It stars Gavin MacLeod, Bernie Kopell, Fred Grandy and Ted Lange.
Passengers who search for romantic nights aboard a beautiful ship travelling to tropical or mysterious countries, decide to pass their vacation aboard the "Love Boat", where Gopher, Dr. Bricker, Isaac, Julie, and Captain Stubing try their best to please them, and sometimes help them fall in love. Things are not always so easy, but in the end, love wins.
Premise

The single parents of one of the engaged couples come aboard with the hopes of breaking up their kids, who they think are too young to be tying the knot. A couple tries to finally get married after ten years together--and nine broken engagements. A groom decides to dump his fiancée, but skips the cruise and leaves his best man to break the news to the bride. The best man is Marv, the young man who befriended Julie when he was best man for another wedding on the Alaska cruise. He cannot bring himself to tell the bride the truth, particularly because he also has feelings for her. |

Emily accuses Marv of treachery after her fiancé suddenly reappears in Curacao and denies that he planned to leave her. |

Vicki and the Fugitive/Lady in the Window/Stolen Years/Dutch Treat (1) A man who appears to be running gets the papers of one of the ship's deck hands and goes onboard. Vicki's attracted to him. But they soon discover that he is wanted by Interpol and when he explains that he paid the deck hand for his papers, and that he's a prince who just wanted to get away from his duties, she doesn't believe. Eventually he is taken away. Laterwhile out walking she sees a Royal entourage and sees that he was telling the truth. A woman runs into the man she was involved with during the War and it seems that she turned him into the Nazis. While she remembers him, he doesn't recognize her. And somehow they end spending time together and she senses that he still harbors ill feelings for the girl who turned him in. She later reveals who she is and he shuns her. Later when they run into each other again, he says that he forgives her, that she did it to save herself. She then says that she didn't do it to save herself but to save him.
