Series synopsis
Family Matters is an American comedy family television series that premiered on ABC on September 22, 1989. It ended on July 17, 1998. It was created by Michael Warren, William Bickley. It stars Reginald VelJohnson, Jo Marie Payton, Rosetta LeNoire and Darius McCrary.
A long-running dramedy centering on the Winslow family, a middle-class African American family living in Chicago, and their pesky next-door neighbor, ultra-nerd Steve Urkel. A spin-off of Perfect Strangers.
