Series synopsis
The Money-Maker Recipe, also known as 師奶股神 is a comedy television series that premiered on TVB Jade on August 8, 2008. It ended on September 5, 2008. It was created by Chi Wah Lam. It stars Kiki Sheung, Michael Tse Tin-Wah, Dominic Lam Ka-Wah and Joyce Tang Lai-Ming.

Premise

Feeling lost in both his career and marriage, CHUNG meets his puppy lover KOO KA CHUN (Tang Lai Ming) and discovers that she also works as a stockbroker. Episode 2 CHUNG discovers that KING and CHUN are the persons in charge of the new securities firm during its opening ceremony. He tries to arrange a TV interview for his boss CHUNG TING in order to promote his securities firm but the interview turns out to be a failure. CHUNG worries that he will get fired and CHU suggests him to join the “Investment Contest” as a form of promotion for his firm. KING blames CHUN for not achieving their target at the branch office. He wants to obtain excellent result at the new firm in order to fight for the Executive Director position in the company. KING and CHUN are actually lovers after work. KING assists CHUN to win in the first round contest. CHUNG is scared to buy any stocks in the first round contest and he successfully enters the second round contest by keeping all his initial capital…… |

Episode 3 With the help of CHU, CHUNG becomes one of the 10 finalists and he also wins the “Best single day improvement” prize. KING’s branch office has won the contest but KING fails to obtain the Executive Director position. LAN persuades CHU to join the organizing committee for a charity fund-raising event. PO takes the initiative to join their team. The team tries hard to raise money but their result is discouraging. Fortunately, the pork butcher CHU YUK LUN helps them by offering free pork to people upon each donation. With the help of CHUN, KING finally gets a chance to introduce himself to the famous stock investor SZETO LUEN FAI. Some people say that superstar “AH JEI” will perform in the estate with the highest record of donation. Everybody is overjoyed to hear this and they donate money to the charity fund enthusiastically. PO joins the organizing committee just because she wants to steal the charity money. . |
