Future Boy Conan, also known as 未来少年コナン is a Japanese animation action & adventure sci-fi & fantasy family television series that premiered on NHK G on April 4, 1978. It ended on October 31, 1978. It stars Noriko Ohara, Mieko Nobusawa, Kazuyo Aoki and Ichiro Nagai.
After the great disaster of 2008, a war that destroyed the planet, the world is now largely ocean with the continents having sunk. Conan lives on a remote island with his grandpa and nature, never having seen another human being. But one day a mysterious girl, Lana, washes up on his beach. The two become quick friends, but she’s soon kidnapped and taken to Industria, a technological remainder from the world before. Premise

Two soldiers of Industria land their hydroplane and kidnap Lana. The Baracuda comes to the same island, getting the inhabitants to salvage for plastic. After Conan finds out the Barracuda is from Industria, he and Jimsy plan to stow away aboard the ship. |
