Series synopsis
Macross 7, also known as マクロス7 is a Japanese animation action & adventure television series that premiered on MBS on October 16, 1994. It ended on September 24, 1995. It was created by Shoji Kawamori. It stars Yo Inoue, Tomo Sakurai, Takehito Koyasu and Rio Natsuki.
35 years have passed since Lynn Minmay had brought peace between the Zentradi and the humans. Nekki Basara is a guitarist and a singer of the band Fire Bomber. Living in the flying colony City 7 , he composes and sings songs in the belief that music holds a greater power. However, an unknown alien race appeared and started laying siege upon City 7.
Premise

Macross 7 Plus 1 - Good Morning Mylene Mylene gets home late at night and checks the various video mail messages that Milia has left her. As the many messages play, Mylene falls asleep on her couch. The next morning, Mylene sings as she showers, and she later makes breakfast for herself. She thinks that it`s a beautiful morning and that something good will happen, but her mood instantly sours when she turns on the TV and sees Basara singing during a battle. |

Macross 7 Plus 3 - Street Fighter Veffidas Feaze Some of Veffidas' exploits as a brawler before she joined Fire Bomber were shown, accompanied by drum solos. A narrator later introduces her as an undefeated warrior, bringing up the mystery of why she gave up fighting to become a musician. The narrator in question is none other than Urara Takano, Veffidas' (and Akiko's) voice actress. |

Speaker Pod Basara and his band "Fire Bomber" are a struggling up and coming group on the Macross 7, an intergalactic colony ship traveling through space looking for a new planet to call home. During one of their concerts, the colony is attacked by a mysterious enemy with an even more mysterious weapon that leaves its victoms in a catatonic state. Basara, yearning to have his music heard, flies into the battle zone in his Valkerie to spread the message of music. |

Fire Scramble Mylene and Ray convince Basara that they should ent er the Super Nova Live show for new bands. Tentions rise between Max and Millia when they, as the two leaders of the fleet, get into an argument about the new threat while being interviewed. Macross 7 is attacked yet again, and much to the dismay of the defence forces, Basara flies into the fray to spread his music. |
