Byker Grove is a British drama comedy television series that premiered on BBC One on November 8, 1989. It ended on December 10, 2006. It was created by Adele Rose. It stars Anthony McPartlin, Declan Donnelly, Donna Air and Andrew Hayden-Smith.

And on a less than cheery note Harry finally decides she's had enough of Ben and they break up. |

Teraisa gives Jack a red jacket to him for his birthday then gets upset when he agrees to go ten pin bowling instead of spending the evening quietly with Teraisa. Stumpy is caught in the building when he isn't a member because he isn't twelve yet, he's actually nine so instead he takes his dog ""Wombat"" for a walk. Regina likes spending time with Stumpy. Ollie gets two tickets to a football match and the rejected Ben is his second choice to go with as Greg can't go because of Jack's birthday. Nikki gets to thinking about her mother Carol but her father doesn't want her to see her. The manager then asks them to leave the complex, ruining Jack's birthday. |

Episode 187 Jack receives a cheque for 2,500 pounds from his Aunt Mary who has passed away. He then spends the money on a motorbike. He also makes amends with Teraise about the evening before and his birthday. Nikki's father drives her to see her mother only for her to be disappointed in her mother's denial of what happened with Mike, but she is determined to return the following day to finish sorting it out. Harry is having trouble getting to the mixing table as Ollie, Ben and are constantly using it, this stops after Sian loses her cool and tells them to stop using the 3-1 tactic and start sharing an hour a time. Sian also tells Jake that she wants to talk more. Cher tries to talk to Ben about the kiss, only to have Harry walk past at that moment. Meanwhile raising money for a dog kennel for Wombat is top priority. |

Episode 245 The break-in trial of when the Denwell Burn, a rival youth club, broke in is taking its toll as the future of Byker Grove is unsteady. Grove Youth Leader Paul is set up along with Matt to take the fall for the break in and although Matt can clear their name he is too frightened to speak up. Paul's father is afraid that if the truth doesn't come out that he will get a criminal record. In order to have some cash Regina decides to earn money by delivering papers. Ben's 18th birthday is fast approaching and there are mixed feeling to go with it as he is now an adult and must leave his home with Lou as a foster child. Trying to cheer Ben up Adam and Luke plan a party for him but Claire is planning to move back with her parents in Tenerife and still hasn't told Ben. |

Episode 246 Akili is relieved as Matt tells the truth in court and Paul is set free with no criminal charges. Steve is less than impressed with Matt and says he will get his revenge. The following are the rulings: Matt - Reparation Order Steve - 4 months detention and training Byker Grove is reopened and both it and Denwell Burn are under Special Review. Now on his own Ben plans to have Claire move in with him however things don't go to plan when he asks her and she ends up in tears. The truth about Tenerife is revealed. |

Episode 247 Byker Grove gets a paint job and Matt is one on the Reparations team to do the job. The peace talks don't last very long after Matt sees Craig and heads straight for him, this after Paul has got the other members of the Grove to leave him alone. Luckily for Matt, Ben gets them apart just before they are seen. Hamsters are the new racing method and Stumpy challenges Robert from Denwell Burn to a race. Meanwhile confusion continues to rain with Ben as Nikki and Stella secretly organises to get both Ben and Claire to the Grove to say goodbye. Finally they confess their love for each other, but just as Claire makes the decision not to go to her parents in Tenerife she finds Ben and Nikki in a compromising position. |

Howevwer Adam gets carried away and picks a fight with Spencer which gets him kicked out. Luke goes after his brother leaving their girlfriends - Leanne and Anjali - stranded in town. Bradley is caught out with the love matching - causing the Grovers to want their money back. |
