Series synopsis
Being April is a British drama comedy television series that premiered on BBC One on June 20, 2002. It ended on August 1, 2002. It was created by Pete Lawson. It stars Pauline Quirke, Nicholas Gleaves, Nitin Ganatra and Victor McGuire.
Three kids. Three dads. One mum. April is a 39-year-old single mother living in Leicester, who has had three children by three different fathers. Richard, her husband since she was 18, is a plumber who still adores her. They separated years ago but never got round to a divorce. Eddie is a barman, with whom she had a fling nine years ago until, a week after moving in with him, she discovered they were both looking for Mr Right. Sunil followed, sexy, young and rich.
Premise

Lies On Jake's sixteenth birthday, none of the dads show up. Taneshia tells April that she's too honest and should try and get the dads more involved. April concocts a story that she has a boyfriend named Callum (the IT manager at work) and he really gets on well with the kids. In no time at all, the three dads are round getting to know their children again. |
