Series synopsis
Flame of Recca, also known as 烈火の炎 is a Japanese action & adventure animation sci-fi & fantasy television series that premiered on Fuji TV on July 19, 1997. It ended on July 10, 1998. It stars Kousuke Okano, Yuki Masuda, Akiko Hiramatsu and Hikaru Midorikawa.
Recca was an average ordinary boy, who happened to like ninjas. One day as an dark and mysterious women enters his life, Recca finds that he has some extraordinary powers. Now he must use these powers to protect his friends and himself from a long lost brother, who holds a hatred against him.

Final Burning This episode explains why the title of the series is "Flame of Recca". It serves as a conclusion to the series, but only for the manga and game, because the anime adaptation has its own ending.
