Series synopsis
Uta~Kata, also known as うた∽かた is a Japanese animation drama sci-fi & fantasy television series that premiered on tvk on October 3, 2004. It ended on December 19, 2004. It stars Masumi Asano, Youko Honda, Maria Kawamura and Nobuo Tobita.
Before you make a deal with a girl in a mirror, reflect seriously on the source of the offer. Ichika fails to heed this advice when she attempts to retrieve a lost charm, and suddenly finds herself with the powers of a Djinn at her command. At first things seem wondrous; but as her abilities grow, Ichika’s situation quickly goes from magical to nightmarish. Soon Ichika finds herself drawn into an ever-expanding web of deceptions, lies, and increasingly dangerous situations.

Summer Pair of Early Winter It's now winter in Kamakura. When Satsuki tells her friends that she'd seen Manatsu, Ichika at first doesn't believe it. But on the day before her 15th birthday, Manatsu's mirror fragment inside Ichika's desk drawer mysteriously disappears. That evening, a young girl calling herself "Mafuyu, Manatsu's identical twin" appears before Ichika with a mischievous smirk on her face. |
